Consultation by the Civil Procedure Rule Committee on Access to Court Documents by non-parties: proposed new CPR 5.4C
April 2024: The Civil Procedure Rule Committee invited responses to their consultation on Access to Court Documents by non-parties pursuant to a new CPR 5.4C. Views were sought on draft amendments to Civil Procedure Rules (CPR) rule 5.4C (supply of documents to a non-party from court records). The contemplated reforms flow from the judgment of the Supreme Court in Cape Intermediate Holdings Ltd v Dring [2019] UKSC 38. The MLA’s response can be viewed and downloaded here –
